Fees
Investor fees, explained
No subscription to browse or invest. You pay a one-time transaction fee when you invest — here is exactly how it’s calculated.
There is no fee to join or browse
Creating an account, browsing offerings, and following deals is free, with no subscription required. You only pay a fee when you actually invest in a deal — and it’s one-time, never recurring.
Transaction fee by payment method
| Payment method | Fee | Minimum | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| ACH / bank transfer / wire | 2% of investment | $8 | $150 (capped) |
| Credit card / Apple Pay / Google Pay | 5.5% + $2 | — | No cap |
Worked examples
Bank transfer (ACH or wire) is always the cheapest way to invest, especially on larger amounts — the card fee has no cap.
| Investment | ACH fee | Card fee (approx.) |
|---|---|---|
| $100 | $8 (minimum) | ~$8 |
| $1,000 | $20 | ~$57 |
| $10,000 | $150 (capped) | ~$552 |
When and how the fee is charged
The fee is added at checkout, on top of your investment amount, in a single charge. If a raise fails to reach its minimum and your investment is refunded, your transaction fee is refunded too.
