Financing

How project financing works — issuer-direct, always

Projects on FILM.FUND are financed by their own companies, on their own terms, off-platform. We verify, organize, and introduce — the company takes it from there.

The company runs its own financing

Every project listed on FILM.FUND belongs to a verified production company. If that company is raising capital, it does so itself — with its own securities counsel, on its own site, under whatever legal framework it elects, and with any licensed intermediaries it engages directly. None of that happens on FILM.FUND.

What FILM.FUND actually does

We give every project a verified Project Passport, full studio coverage from the Greenlight Room, and mandate-based discovery so the right industry participants find it. When someone is interested in a project’s financing, we point them to the company and step out of the way.

What never happens on the platform

  • No offers, offerings, or securities of any kind are made, listed as investments, or sold on FILM.FUND
  • No money for any transaction ever touches FILM.FUND — no escrow, no custody, no processing of investment funds
  • No commitments, subscriptions, or allocations are taken or routed through the platform
  • No compensation to FILM.FUND is ever calculated from or contingent on any raise, deal, or sale

FAQ

I want to back a project I found here — what do I do?+

Contact the production company directly — every verified listing shows the company and links to its own site. Any financing conversation, documentation, and funding happens between you, the company, and your own licensed and legal advisers.

Does FILM.FUND vet the investment terms?+

No. Verification covers identity, company, and the presence of documentation — it is operational, never an endorsement of any financing terms, which are entirely the company’s own.

FILM.FUND is a technology platform, not the issuer of any offering, and does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice. All investments involve risk, including total loss of capital.
